Ezorisu 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Author Share Posted July 2, 2009 It is good as tempura, but it is most common as a condiment or presentation with sashimi... it's that serrated green leaf. In the West it's called "beefsteak leaf" or "Perilla", or something to that effect. It is also common in Korean cooking, but is usually incorrectly called "sesame leaf" if translated into English.
