NoFakie 45
DLT the man who brought snooker to the radio. What a twunt. Let The Music Play is said to be the first tune with a TB303, the little bass keyboard which makes the squidgy sound on all acid house records. Dunno if its true. Here's what this lot sounded like before Trevor Horn got hold of them. I can remember watching this on tv so I always thought it was supposed to have more lyrics. The middle bit is the tune from Eraserhead. The Pixies did it too on a B side. BBC just did a documentary called "Synth Brittania" about 80s synth pop. A bit of self-glorification and rewriting history, but some nice footage all the same. I didn't know OMD started on Factory.
Metabo Oyaji 71
Interesting version, Mr. Wiggles. Bit of funk. Never realized before that the following was written by Thomas Dolby:
grungy-gonads 54
Onteresting. I prefer the beefed up Horn version better myself. Hey, is that singer gay??!?!?

grungy-gonads 54
It's been mentioned before, but this song is just brilliant. Early 80's, synths, but it does not sound dated. Listened to the mastered version in the car this week
