HelperElfMissy 42
Well I am happy to be paying the cheaper price that Aus has to offer for this Aussie winter! And very pleased to know that where ever we venture in the coming years the price of the lifts is gonna be lower than home. Ive always said what good value Niseko is. I am sure the same or more holds true for other less commercialized places in Japan as well - but compared to Oz ... it is GREAT value!
soubriquet 0
Now I have the snow clearing off my back, it`s 20 minutes cruise to the slopes. Perth is a great city mama, but I don`t miss the WA skiing.

soubriquet 0
Dan skied free in the 2006-2007 season. Tim was at 1/2 price as a junior. I'm over 55 and on seniors discount. Three for the price of one.
DayTripper 0
@ TB - I wouldn't exactly say it's local - but Aviemore and Glenshee are the closest to me at about 3 hours drive away.
Tubby Beaver 209
where do you live? Aberdeen? I'm from Dundee, so Glenshee is about an hour and a bit away. Never been to Aviemore, but have boarded at the Lecht and Glencoe before
rach 1
Glencoe - if I remember correctly, beautiful area.
soubriquet 0
Scotland is beautiful, but the one time I skied there it was (well disciplined) rubbish. There was a nutter in a kilt, though. He was entertaining.
