This summer I had 27kg and they asked me to pay for 4kg. I refused and ended up taking a few things out that were really not needed (think chocolate and tins) and then reluctantly letting me through at 25kg. Same airline, same flight, almost the same date even. I agree the inconsistency is really annoying. Link to post Share on other sites

My case usually weights around 27kg when I check it and while I've had check in people moaning about it never had to cough up.
