muikabochi 208
And how many cm of new snow did that snow all night bring? Nothing here and cloudy.
soubriquet 0
Something like 15cm on top of the car. We really are in the winter pattern now. It snows continuously and lightly from slightly broken thin cloud. We'll get this for another 3 weeks or so, then the snowpack will start to decline. It took 45 minutes to clear the shopfront and house access this morning. That's about right, but it can take twice that.
muikabochi 208
Sounds good. We're really not into normal here unfortunately. Managing in terms of snow on the hills of course, but if it doesn't build up properly in the next few weeks I see it being a relatively early finish again for lower resorts round here. soubriquet 0
A clear night tonight, and a hard frost. Ice, glittering like diamonds, everywhere.
soubriquet 0
The White Train has just been through. The White Train is a fantasy Express. A midnight train whom no-one sees (except me) but the Shinkansen passes through. I'm deep in dogshit again.

Domokun_72dpi 0
Good morning all, we take off for Japan today (yay, finally!). We have a gruelling flight (Melb-Sydney-Osaka), but all totally worth it. keep some snow for me, see ya!
gerard 6
Good morning. Interesting winter weather down here on Shikoku. This year, its been coming form the east a lot more (as upposed to the north. ..Low pressure systems bringing rain on the plains. Usually when rain comes from the east and south, the whole island is warm, but the cold temps seem to be extending down to Shikoku, so we’re getting more snow than usual in the mountains too. The same pattern has repeated three times in less than as many weeeks.

soubriquet 0
Morning koko, how's it going? It is, how can I put this, snowing here. Last night's weather forecast had little snowmen lined up for the whole week. I wish they would use snow bunnies instead.
Go Native 70
Dusting of snow overnight. Currently around -15 in town with more snow later.
soubriquet 0
Morning GN. I guess it's too cold in Hokkaido to use water to melt snow. What do you use instead?
soubriquet 0
It seems Tokyo is buried under a mighty 3cm of snow. It's hard to conceive... http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23154500-23109,00.html
muikabochi 208
Foggy this morning here, I don't know what lies beyond that fog!
soubriquet 0
About 10cm overnight. Thin cloud. It took me a little over 1/2 hour to clear the fresh snow this morning, and I'll go back for a second pass when the hardpack softens up. I noticed yesterday when out in the early afternoon, there was genuine heat in the sun. I could feel it burning my cheeks. Spring is coming.

soubriquet 0
Morning koko. How's Hakuba? I need an early start this morning, there's a fair amount of snow to clear. Not much overnight, but plenty from yesterday. There's still enough time to drink a pot of tea and read the paper.
soubriquet 0
OK, done. About an hour of moderate exercise on a nice fresh morning. Nice cheery herros from the lady's niece and one of my milfs.

soubriquet 0
Morning. Just a couple of cm overnight. I was able to hop back into bed for a cuddle instead of going out to clear snow. One of life's easier decisions.
muikabochi 208
0cm here, though it has started snowing.
