IPs do change and we don't particular want to ban an IP address because other people might be using it. If - people fill out the registration form properly - it does not look suspicious (you often get a feel for that, hard to describe) - their email/IP is not on our black list (a list of previous criminals) ...then we usually approve the registration. Not much more we can do there. We don't want to be overly strict, but of course want to keep troublemakers out. Link to post Share on other sites

Most likely the guy did it from an internet cafe or something like this. The best you could get is probably the name and address of the provider, after that you are on your own... Unless it is a static IP? Were you able to tell the geographical origin of the IP? Link to post Share on other sites

We do keep records of everything we delete though, so once we get all our site updates done we plan to get back to this.
