fukdane 2
Fujikyu Highland sure like the "sekai ichi" when it comes to coasters. They got a new one opening up tomorrow http://www.eejanaika.jp/

big-will 7
Looks good that - and they still have Fujiyama and that Dodonpa one?
farquah 0
Went to FujiQ last year and by far the best thing in there was the haunted house!! Was really cool, old chinese hospital thing that you walk around in and choose your own route. They have actors in there and it`s really well designed, you end up getting really lost and walking around for what seems like ages. Not saying I screamed like a girl or anything but there were some pretty scary parts!! You don`t know where the exit is so you end up running out of the thing shouting with all the people who are in the line waiting to get in laughing at you!! Good fun! akafuji 0
Fujiyama is fun ride. I will have to try this new one out also, but worried about my ageing heart!
Curt 1
Looks good. I bet the queues are pretty awful. I'll wait for a mid-week in November I think.
klingon 10
A friend of mine said he once waited in the queue for Dodonpa for over 5 hours when it first opened.
BagOfCrisps 24
That park sounds like it has some really good rides. Worth a visit?
tsondaboy 0
I rode it yesterday, it almost passes the limit of being pleasant and sickening!! Next to it dodonpa and fujiyama look like kids rides. I was there at 8:30 in the morning so I had to wait only 1 hour in line to ride it. By 10, the average waiting time was 3 hours! Still I think it worth’s the trouble, it’s a big nasty adrenaline machine.
kintaro 0
I've been to Fuji Q Highland around 5 times. It's worth a visit. But if you have the chance, go on a rainy weekday. 5 hours in line is insane! I went one day at the spur of the moment and got to ride the Fuji Yama 3 times in one hour. Adrenaline machine's are fun! Spent the day cruising the factory shops and came back the next week, the place was empty got 6-7 laps on the big beast, 5 min waits tops. You could see the football field size "waiting maze" area ready for those mad holiday periods -shudder. Your best bet would be a cold overcast but dry weekday from Oct - April. veronica 2
Yes I would definitely say the best time to visit is a Monday in November or February. Not too cold (ice will stop them as well) but overcast is best.
tsondaboy 0
According to some signs that were all over the park, the roller coasters stop operating if it rains more than 15 cm/hour.
nzlegend 1
15cm or 15 mm? 15cm is a epic torrential downpour!! 10mm/hour = light rain 20mm/hour = heavy rain 100mm/hour = cloudburst 150mm (15cm)/hour = Noahs ark!

charlotte 0
I am going in September that places looks really good. On a midweek in non peak times, how quick do you think you can get on the rides?
tsondaboy 0
On a weekday you will probably be able to ride again the same ride as soon as you get of it.
