soubriquet 0
Yep, lots here. It isn't sand though, it's clay size powder called loess. My car is coated in it.
me jane 0
I saw some yellow dust floating in my glass of water this morning. Thought it was pollen. Hmm... I guess I drunk sand.

snobee 0
Many "yellow" days been had this season here in Shikoku. Covers a washed car in a day, so I guess that means it's covering everything else too. No counts of yellow fever to date.

bushpig 0
That is just depressing Australia is having the same probs with it's main waterway, the Murray-Darling system. A huge part of the problem is overuse for agriculture, and the state and federal governments have finally implemented a plan to return a huge amount of water to the system by buying back water rights from many farmers and other poeple who use the water. Apparently the amoutn required to actually fully revive the system won't be anywhere near achieved, but at least it is a start. We had a huge dump of rain last night here in Hiroshima and my car is dirty as hell today. Damn yellow loess!
