slimeypete 0
There seems to be some celebration of perms going on for some reason. Here's a good one of some footballers
scouser 4
Not just any footballers - the mighty Kevin Keegan is in that photo.
big-will 7
Perms. My brother used to have a Keegan perm. It was just unbelievably bad, he was very proud of it at the time though. I'll have to try and drag some photos up for the laughs.
bushpig 0
I wonder how he was able to run around the soccer pitch with all that extra weight on his head...
rach 1
The pre mullet perm. Cool. I loved the short tight pants they used to wear round that time as well.
bushpig 0
It makes me almost wanna try growing my hair long enough to get one!
joshnii 2
Doesn't the guitarist of Linkin Park have a perm like that recently? Perhaps they will be the next big thing. (The perms, not Linkin Park).
ncorrenti 0
I got a perm in grade 7 for the graduation dance. I looked like a little poodle. Unfortunately there are photos hanging on the walls of my parents house, so I'll never be able to forget...
LiquidX 0
Go on, post one. You know you want to Remember: Does Your Hair Have Permability? Is your hair really a good candidate for a perm? It is always best to work with a stylist in order to get their evaluation of your hair's porosity and viability for any chemical process, including a perm. If you are unsure whether your hair will do well with a perm solution, you can do an at-home evaluation. Check your own hair for permability by snipping a strand or two of your hair from a place on your scalp that is not obvious. Place the strands in a glass of fresh water. If your hair floats there is a good chance that your hair can survive a chemical treatment. Floating hair means that the cuticle and cortex layers are healthy. If your hair sinks, the cuticle and cortex may be damaged and could not withstand a chemical treatment. If the hair is too porous a perm won't take and color won't stay on the cuticle. ncorrenti 0
Tempting but no Speaking of bad hairstyles, I think rats tails are coming back into fashion. I've seen two guys and one girl sporting one in the past month... scary.
brit-gob 9
What the heck are rats tails? Mullets bunched up into a thin ponytail like thing.
frannyo 2
My brother used to have a perm ala Keegan. He thought he was really cool. (And he was actually - at the time). He looked a right wally though.
