I asked my boyfriend about whether he'd say another guy is sexy. He said he wouldn't say "he's sexy", however, he can tell whether a guy would be classed as attractive or not. damian 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 I think there are two aspects to the question: 'Good looking' - implies that they are put together well, 'correct' body ratios, symmetrical facial structure etc. When observed it is clearly a logical observation and statement to make and guys that are incapable of saying it are either emotionally inhibited or jealous or thinking it anyway. I can openly say 'hey, that lucky prick is a very good looking guy'. 'Sexy' - non gay guys would understandably not often say this at all as, to me, it implies that you find the person literally sexually attractive. I do not find men sexually attractive and so never describe a man as being 'sexy'. However, if a girl says 'he is sexy' then I often see why they say that. It is usually pretty obvious and predictable which men girls think are sexy. If you cant see that then you are scared of something and lying to yourself (and have probably secretly looked at tranny porn on the net). Link to post Share on other sites

I do it all the time. Guys that I know will tend to say things like "he's handsome" - that's always a strange word for me, actually, when I think about it, it's been Americans who have used that term. Talking about "good looking" busy with so-called classic looks, I find that "good looking" doesn't necessarily mean that they are sexy. Link to post Share on other sites
