JA, when somebody tees it up that nicely it's impolite to refrain from hitting it right down the middle.

Not an expert, but I'd say yes for kids & beginners (having had some along several times on trips). -
Only a second or two under the right circumstances.

Nah, it's what a footie fan answers when the doctor tells him to stop the binge drinking -
I'll have to look for it, TB. Thought it was very good. Thanks.

Had a friend who went once and never went back, but he wasn't a hardcore snow addict.

People who are asking advice from overseas about when to come for the ``Ja-Pow'' experience should be told mid-January to mid-February. They're looking at a trip that will cost a lot of money, and it's criminal to blithely say, ``Oh, there's loads of snow and great powder conditions in mid-March'' or December. Of course there ARE powder days in December & March, just not that many of them and you need to be there the whole month or very lucky. The idea that because there will be an xx-meter base or good early-season conditions, it's fine to tell people they should fly 10-12 hours at eno

Break up a few of Ippy's into 500-word max segments and we're there! -
Sapporo seems to have other beers they sell mainly (only?) in Hokkaido. Good brews. Now that Classic is widely available outside Hokkaido, it doesn't seem quite the same. I think it was Sapporo 5-Star (?) that I had up north a few years ago that was really nice.

Well, just back from TY Harbour this evening and had a few very nice brews there. Tubby, I don't know what they changed but somehow it turned Ichibanshibori from a nice beer to not a whole lot better than Bud. Give Kirin Classic a try. I'm also a fan of Black Label and other Sapporo brews, and Classic matches up pretty well.

Yes, Kirin Classic is quite good. Beats the now-emasculated Ichibanshibori hands down. (Can't for the life of me figure out why Kirin had to screw up a fine brew like the original I.)

But she's great in anything though... Even better out of anything!

Oblivion the other evening. Not bad, plot was pretty obvious but excellent SFX. Want one of those bikes!
