Maybe you should have a look on the Sapporo Snow Festival sight I am pretty sure just out of town they have tubing as part of the festival and I think there is a ice maze there as well.

I have just been informed by my doctor that I need to have the Swine Flu Vaccine?? Is it still bad in Japan or dying down again?? If anyone has had the vaccine do you get sick after the vaccine?? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have always been pretty strong health wise and never had to worry about any of this.

Very interesting!!! We have the same complaint here with the weather. On a day when the thermometer is reading 36oC the weather will report that it only reached 29o or 30o. The reasoning behind this is that the temperature for the gold coast region is taken at the seaway which is on the sea wall with a beautiful sea breeze HENCE it keeps the tourist happy as they think it is only 30o instead of a very uncomfortable 36o. Lovely and tropical NOT!!! Guess that doesn't work in the ski fields as big dumps are more likely to make the tourists happy

I think we paid about $180 each for 2 weeks. Be assured if you don't get it something will happen. Ask Mamabear about her trip to Europe and the airlines lost our bags on our first trip.

Been to Niseko four times now. Next year will be our last to Niseko for awhile we are going to try a few other Japow Resorts. We are towing along some newbies with us this time who haven't done any travelling (1 trip to NZ can't count that though) so we thought Niseko would be a good introduction without freaking them out to much. I am getting some CLASSIC questions from them though??

Lets all remember Natascha Richardson - Fell on a beginners run having a lesson and now she has passed. Who would have thought you could be killed on a beginners run.
