I agree BettyBoo. Within reason as long as it's not a day or two trip, decide where you want to go then look at the travel. Don't decide on a fairly long trip based on whether it takes 2 or 3 hours.

Right - but I hadn't told anyone or any machine or anything. So I'm confused as to why I am getting them. Surely changing address will be just the same?

OK so I've had my keitai for however long (a month or so?) and when I first got it I set up a mail address on there. But I haven't told anyone the address yet. Not one person. In the last few days though I have started to get spam mail coming in the middle of the night.... 6 so far now in 2 days. Very annoying. How did they get my address and what do you do to stop spam on your keitai?

Good idea that. It can always be intimidating joining a forum (not just this one) and a newby area would be a good addition I think. I thought skiing looked fun and snowboarding looked more like a fashion statement when I started up - that's where my choice came from.

OK I have spent a while reading this and there are some interesting things said. I still want to go there just to find out for myself. I'm quite new to the discussion and would really like to be able to taste both and tell you what I think. Seems that the rivalry between the two main places will only get more!

I have the Canon G50. Got it a year ago and really like it, does the job for me. Got the eigo manual as well which was a bit help in the beginning.
