Does anyone remember when the US got the World Cup and suggested a whole load of measures to make soccer more interesting and marketable? Some of them were along the lines of making the goals bigger and abolishing off sides to make it easier to score, therefore more goal action. Football community were up in arms about people fiddling with their "beautiful" game but I thought it was a great idea. Don`t know if they ever tried it.

I heard that you should stick your boots in the freezer for a bit to kill any nasty stuff and then put cat litter in them to absorb any moisture. Supposedly removes any odour too. I tried it at the end of one season but my boots still had that unmistakable smell of wet dogs the next year.

It was my first time there so not qualified to comment but the snow was awesome. Loads of folk about but didn`t have to cue for any lifts. Wicked day out but legs are feeling it today. Can`t wait for next weekend.

I was up there on Sunday and it was awesome - so much snow. Only fourth time out over here and if that`s what it`s going to be like bring it on.
