  1. How many did I go through? That doesn't sound very nice! I certainly never counted. My first relationship lasted a couple of years and after that I probably did about three solid years of just dating. It wasn't until I met my boyfriend that I 'settled down' so to speak. That period of just dating and having fun was something I really needed to do. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years being 'just friends' with boys because I was a total tomboy, so it was nice to have all that male attention for once. On another matter, I have a friend who is quite promiscuous, purel

I wasn't actually 'allowed' to have a boyfriend until I was 17, so I went through the 'boy crazy' stage a lot later than most girls.
  3. Hardly! Sure, when I was a bit younger and I was going clubbing a lot I kissed a lot of boys, but I never had one night stands or anything. I think most people go through that phase though.
  4. Sometimes... it might seem heartless but, really, you're doing them a favour - you teach them a few important tricks, cut 'em loose and then they go on to make some other girl very happy. I'm kidding, by the way
  5. It drives me absolutely nuts when people say "literally" all the time for the wrong reasons. E.g. "I literally had to go downstairs and tell him to shut up".
  6. I'm not attracted to guys that are "studs". I go for the cute, shy, unassuming types... they're much more fun to corrupt
  7. Yeah they broadcast the finals of the halfpipe, not the qualifying though.
  8. The TV coverage here in Australia sucks bigtime. They put it on at 10pm at night and even then they usually only show the "highlights". Not happy
  9. I don't see a problem with this. It's a small price to pay to be able to do something you love, right?
  10. Spud, I hear what you're saying. Rest assured that we will have no problems making our repayments (we aren't borrowing nearly as much as the bank would like us to) or paying back the money we've borrowed. We've done the math and all the 'worst case scenario' planning. The mortgage insurance isn't what's bothering me. Or the land tax, really. See, I'm a control freak when it comes to stuff like this. I like to know everything up front and have it spelled out on paper. What's worrying me is that we're trusting this guy to do all this stuff for us, and my confidence in him has plummeted.
  11. My boyfriend and I going to build a house, so we went to a mortgage broker that was recommended to us by some friends. I was a bit hesitant about using one at first as I'd heard some bad things about them, but this guy is fully accredited and came highly recommended and when we met him we found him to be very nice and extremely professional. The past week, however, has been really stressful. He told us that because we only had 5% deposit, we'd need to pay mortgage insurance, however, he assured us that this could be built into the loan. The next day he rang me and said he'd made a m
  12. I think it's a great photo Echineko. I was hoping to dress up as a 'race queen' for the fancy dress party last night but unfortunately I couldn't source the outfit.
  13. It is a ridiculous situation. Firstly, I believe it was really irresponsible of the cartoonists and the newspapers that published the cartoons to do what they did. Why? Because they knew it would cause extreme offense and outrage among Muslim fundamentalists. Now, not all Muslims are extreme fundamentalists, but there are quite a few who are, and you just don't want to go pissing those guys off. Of course, I believe in a free press and in theory we should be able to parody anything, however, that's simply not the reality of the world we live in. Secondly, it is really crazy th
  14. This is my vote for who they should make the next James Bond: Paul Walker. Sure, he isn't a great actor but he is sexy.
  15. I find the auditions hilarious to watch too. It's also really sad because a lot of the really, really awful ones actually believe they're going to make it through. It must absolutely shatter their spirit and self esteem to be shut down like that!
  16. Quote: Originally posted by Kintaro: Children suffering...for whatever reason. I saw a tv program the other day and a 9 year old boy had died from cancer and his parents were being interviewed. It was quite emotional. Yes, same! I'm a real sucker for World Vision ads on TV. Seeing animals suffer also makes me cry. I once hit a pidgeon with my car and broke its wing. It was flapping around in the gutter in a panic and I didn't know what to do. I started crying and this old man walking past picked it up and said "Don't worry, I'll go put it out of its misery". I bawled the whole way ho
  17. - Seeing other people cry usually makes me teary. - Also, I have a huge needle phobia. If I have to go get a shot I pretty much burst into tears the second I walk into the doctor's office.
  18. Starfish = when one lays spreadeagled on the bed, disinterested, while her/his partner does his/her thing on top.
  19. Funny shit - or should I say 'shizzit'? www.gizoogle.com

  21. I have to go to a fancy dress party on Friday night... I am very tempted to go as one of these "race queens". Can anyone give me tips on how to perfect this look?
