Not much going on looking into details of these friendlies with b teams round about now. Sven is a man of passion and he proved it beyond any doubt last night: "It's always disappointing to lose a football game". -

Never heard of him. I see Henry has just signed another deal with Arsenal - because he loves the team of course and wants to write another chapter with them. Quote: Thierry Henry demanded a two-year contract for Robert Pires on top of £130,000 a week for himself. -

What a ridiculous mascot. All mascots that I can remember have been silly, but this one really is poor. -

The English go over the top yes, but they actually have much more realist prospects of doing better. And most people know a bit more about the game. Perhaps I'm just not objective about that. -

I'd have to see almost no chance whatsoever. Strange things can happen though - look who won Euro 04. But no, it won't happen. They might wind up getting to the last 8 or so, but probably not I reckon. That's what I really don't like about the things here. They just go totally over the top with totally unrealistic and fantastic goals making people who don't know any better actually believe that Japan might win the World Cup. -
I see PS3 just got a motion sensitive controller (wii -wii!) and a rather expensive price tag (60,000 yen here)

True. Just in: England will be allowed to replace Wayne Rooney in their World Cup squad up until 24 hours before their opening match against Paraguay on 10 June. Fifa confirmed that their regulations allow for a player to be substituted provided the governing body is supplied with evidence of serious injury. If a replacement is called up Rooney would take no part in the tournament. -

Rooneys recovery timetable MAY 7: Manchester United’s final match of the season at home to Charlton. MAY 8: Sven Goran Eriksson picks his provisional squad for the World Cup — with possibly as many as 27 players. MAY 13 (two weeks after injury): Rooney should be doing soft impact exercises like swimming but no running. And he must take plenty of rest days in between. MAY 15: England boss Eriksson must officially submit his finalised 23-man World Cup squad to FIFA. MAY 27: Earliest date Rooney’s broken bone could be healed. MAY 30: England v Hungary (friendly at Ol -

Someone was bound to get some metatarsal or whatever they are problems. It seems to be our fate. Trust it to be the most important guy in the team. -
They should read the Japanese English textbooks - you know the "Let's be Friends" one. There's some real deep-rooted feelings going on there.

Can you tell us why taguchi? That place really does seem to be either love or hate. -
I had a really cheap Canon printer (something like 7000 yen it was) and it really did get through ink really fast, way too fast actually. Recently got a newer, much better Epson and I'm much happier with it and the ink situation seems to be better.

Hearing that I'm actually a bit interested in one of these now.

Travolta and Lopez? WTF? Who shot JR? "For millions of people around the world the most important news of the 80`s was not the Polish Revoloution.....the hostages in Iran.....the catestrophic earthquakes....the Iraq-Iran war.....or the American presidential elections. In fact the number 1 topic, all the way from Philadelphia to Hong Kong, from London to Johannesbrug wasn`t anything real at all. It happened in America on March 21st 1980 and was the simulated shooting of a rapacious Texas oilbaron at the hands of his low-life mistress, his wifes sister, in a popular American Tv Series
