  1. looks like a complete load of bollox to me!
  2. http://movies.channel.aol.com/feature/starwars/trailer.adp Hate to say it but it looks pretty good!
  3. I reckon it`s ours now. Can`t see Arsenal or ManU putting the run needed to catch us if we do slip up. It`s going to be a great battle for 2nd though. Crystal Palace - legends! Just a shame no one has the guts to support them.....
  4. Great article on Mourinho here http://football.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,9753,1437002,00.html And Benitez may be tempted to Real Madrid! http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,1563,1438614,00.html Do you Liverpool fans rate him this highly?
  5. hhhmmmmmmm does OL stand for old lady or office lady?
  6. easy now or i`ll start making sentences including the words `everton higher you than finish will` What do you reckon about the Reyes Owen swap rumours?

  8. Bunch of thugs is a bit harsh. There are most certainly some thugs that support chelsea but you could say the same about every other team in the country. The threats were obscene anyone who is found guilty should be banned from the club for life and imprisoned. Jose is pushing his luck a bit, but i get the feeling he`s been told to be delibrately troublesome if only to raise chelsea`s profile and make sure they stay in the news. Wouldn`t say he`s a thug though. A bit out of order definitely but not a thug.
  9. They just flagged (literally with a big red flag) my mate over for driving without a seatbelt. He had to go into a special bus to give his details. Clearly a carefully planned operation. Maybe they spend their time practicing and carrying out stuff like this?
  10. Man U, Arsenal, Barcelona and Real Madrid all out! Another Chelsea Liverpool final?
  11. Barcelona have accused one of the stewards of calling Eto`o a monkey. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,1563,1433631,00.html
  12. Went to NZ last summer. The terrain`s excellent especially the club fields but with Japanese vert. The snow is much more unreliable and worse quality, more like Europe. But i`ve only been there once and for a week. The best thing about it was everyone was so laid back and friendly. Had an awesome time. Chile and Argentina sound like a more interesting option but more difficult to sort out. For Chile I think you`d base yourself in Santiago and hit resorts from there. Argentina is generally supposed to be cheaper. I`m sure there`s many people on here who could tell you a lot more abou
  13. Do you have any links to people writing about their snowboarding travels? Or first hand info on Afghanistan, Pakistan or S.Africa? Would be very interested to know more. Definitely will be trying to go to some more unfamiliar countries. Looking at the possibility of going round the world only travelling to adjacent countries. Something along the lines of Japan to S.Korea to China to India to Pakistan to Afghanistan to Iran to Turkey to Bulgaria to Romania to The Ukraine to Slovakia to The Czech Republic to Austria to Switzerland to France before finishing up in N.America. Maybe scrap the
  14. Alyeska http://worldsnowboardguide.com/resorts/USA/Alaska/Alyeska/ http://www.alyeskaresort.com/ Haven`t been there but looks pretty good
  15. JOHN TERRY - what a player! Did anyone see the game? Was Ronaldinho`s goal as amazing as it sounds? Was the game a good one to watch? Damn I wish I had sky now! Does anyone know if the game will be reshown on BS 5 ?
  16. I`ve heard of a couple of similar cycling things that seem epic. Unfortunately I won`t be able to do something on that scale. It would be awesome to plan a trip across the major mountain ranges of the world but that is way beyond my snowboarding or organisational ability. Was thinking more about going to resorts but in a fair few different countries. A basic list of countries that would be feasible are Japan, Canada, U.S.A, France, Switzerland, Austria, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan/India. Then Argentina, Chile and New Zealand in the winter. There`s obviousily a whole host of other co
  17. I`m off back to England in July/August after a 2 year teaching stint. Not sure exactly what i`m going to do yet but with a bit of luck snowboarding`s going to feature pretty significantly.
  18. I`ve had my heart set on a snowboarding trip round the world for a year starting next winter. Recently i`ve been thinking it may not be the most sensible thing to do in terms of future job application, especially considering the time and cost. Then started thinking of doing it but trying to get more out of it than just the fun and adventure side. Turning it into an organized charity thing. Something along the lines of getting a few people together and turning it into a challenge. For example how many countries you can go to, or miles of pistes etc. Go to some more interesting places such
  19. Just wish robben was fit. We played them a few years ago and destroyed them at the nou camp only to loose it at home, just hope we can get it together and get some revenge.
  20. Looks like Crystal Palace got a good result this weekend
  21. Quote: Originally posted by scouser: A great site indeed. Did you watch the 2ND DEFEAT IN A ROW, connackers? Didn`t get to watch them unfortunately, an historic occasion, not often you get to see chelsea manage back to back losses This sudden chirpiness from liverpool supporters bodes well if your season so far is anything to go by... should be a quality game either way, looking forward to it
  22. There`s a kid in a kindergarten i `teach` at once a month whose mother is korean and father is japanese. He`s lived in japan all his life and obviously his first (and i think only) language is japanese. He`s been at the kindergarten for 3 years so the teachers know him pretty well. Yesterday the teachers asked me how to say `hold hands` and `grab his hand` in english so they could use it to tell him when they crossed the road ??????
  23. Try this thread http://www.skijapanguide.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi/topic/1/4140.html?#000000 And this link http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2355.html Went from Maizuru to Otaru which was overnight and took 20 hours. Cheap and bearable, but only just. Get a bed not a shared tatami room. Though Aomori to Hokkaido probably won`t take long at all and shouldn`t be hit too bad by rough seas.
