  1. Kartoffel- How come the plastic zip lock bag thing you have is crap? Could you give me a bit more info (links to similar items)? Am guessing it is not as bulky so could be what I am looking for. Am going to need something for work anyway so shopping around for some kind of accessory to do the job. Don`t mind watching myself too much as it`s a good way to see how I can improve my technique. Also a good laught with few beers after a day out in the white!

  4. Lost a load of weight right at the beginning when arrived here and have since struggled to out it back on. My goal is to be about 100kgs for rugby as I was back at home, somehow I never get above 96/7kgs while here. I could laze about and do sod all, eat Maccas everyday and generally turn into a slob but that requires far too much effort!

We were given it after nearly every rugby game and it really works well and you can notice a marked improvement in comfort levels. If you can get hold of some give it a try, certainly won`t do any harm. (unless it`s an open cut!) How about using ultrasound also? It is especially good for peripheral nerve injuries and used a lot in sports injuries back home. It increases your blood flow in that area and also provid
  6. Having a shop around this month looking at some DV cams which I wouldn`t mind useing to try and catch some footage on the slopes this year with. Quick question for those who film their adventures, do you use a water proof housing on your cam or just try and keep it dry from the snow?? Used to have a middle of the road Sony but wrecked it on a boat once just through a few accidental splashes so not sure how it would have faired out in the snow. Also thought the water proof housing may protect it a little durability wise, but does make them a bit more bulky and heavy. Anyone any reccomendatio
  7. FMB`s..in half their glory!! And here is the official description.. Urban Dictionary
  8. Indo..unfortunately they don`t need to think what will happen, it has and is allready happening in the worlds seas. About 10% of the worlds corals have allready been destroyed, and I would say that`s a conservative number. A colleague of mine recently came back from a study in the Philipines and over 70% of the coral has been destroyed and of the rest only 5% can be said to be in good condition. Bill Clinton got it right when he said this: " Pollution, overfishing, and overuse have put many of our unique reefs at risk. Their disappearance would destroy the habitat of countless species.

  16. New species of shark was discovered in Papau, Indonesia. Quote: The research team from Conservation International, which is based in the US, claim to have found 52 new species, including 24 new species of fish, 20 species of coral and eight species of shrimp. Full Article here. Would have been absolutely awsome to be a member of that team. “Above and below water, it’s simply mind-blowing.” Just goes to show how little we really know about what`s going on down there and why we have to do our best to protect it in order to be able to understand it in the future.

  23. Just before summer after a hard days white water rafting in Gunma myself plus a friend and our respective girlfriends took a trip to an onsen/ rotenburo jobby. Looked like a cracker of a place and had the appropriate bad egg smell to convince me wasn`t fake. Payed our yenage and entered over a bridge and into.............the biggest konyoku I have ever seen (fair enough my only one also!) Huge thing on the banks of the river with great views (excuse the pun!). Now I was led to believe konyoku were pretty modest affairs where one wraps themsleves up in the white flannel towel things and the lad
