  1. Frankly I was a bit surprised by the raid on the Hills. I thought he should have some protection from his new political friend now but apparently not. This time I hope he prevails not because I don't think he is an 'artist' but it takes someone like him to deal with the old crooks and that perception carries the market.
  2. I don't see how you could not have passion about a fusion of an American trained founder(s) and, apparently, Malaysian trained chefs?
  3. Just advertising by affiliation I suspect. You can see the backgrounds of the staff here. http://www.fujimamas.com/staff.html I have been there twice (both occasions initiated by others). The food and services were both uninspiring. Even though I didn't expect much from a restaurant such as this, some of the waiters there obviously didn't know what they were doing. I hope they are better since I was there but I don't think I will be going back in a hurry if I can help it.
  4. Kaiser Chiefs - my god it is boring. The sound belongs to the 80's. Back to Bedlum by James Blunt is not bad but I bought a CD to be entertained, not to feel like at a funeral all the time.
  5. As a matter of principle, I don't read books by author who goes to Fujimamas. The food is simple not that exciting.
  6. I imagine most spend a lot of time flirting in the office. No? But the more interesting question must be: did you do it in the office?
  7. There are generally two arguments for disclosure: potential security and litigation risk.
  8. http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/this_britain/article338017.ece A friend in a competitor firm told me that it is their official policy that office romance must be disclosed. There was one incident a few years back where the affair between an employee and her boss was reported to HR which decided to interviewed them separately. She admitted to the affair but he denied. He was fired.
  9. He was a great man. http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/sports/etc/news/20060105i513.htm
  10. I like it! Instead of reflecting on what happened, go somewhere you can say anything!
  11. Quote: whether people think it a correct move or not As far as I can see, all were good calls - including the one or two occasions where yours truly were at the receiving end!
  12. Quote: We have done it for them. Even better. Perhaps the forum should at an opportune juncture also consider banning annoying moving avatar.
  13. Rahul, I believe you. Don't give up and keep them coming. One day you will be able to pinpoint them more accurately.
  14. Don't be so harsh - I have seen 'star' (stock) analysts who were no better!
  15. Ceteris paribus, the hoi polloi will go for something familiar and reassuring. Ask 7-11.
  16. There has been a consolidation of business in November. http://www.nikkei.co.jp/sp1/nt65/20051225SP8CP003_25122005.html I agree with you. What a stupid way to destroy a well recognised name.
  17. That's nothing wrong with my question. The Oxford dictionary defines 'inclination' as "• noun 1 a natural tendency to act or feel in a particular way. 2 (inclination for/to/towards) an interest in or liking for. 3 (irrelevant). 4 (irrelevant)." There is nothng which implies creation. Had I wanted to indicate simply 'ability to create', I would have just said 'artist'.
  18. slow, just curious, what type makes your heart race? Someone with an artistic incline, maybe an art dealer?
