I keep staring at the weather predictions and they keep changing. I'll give you a buzz Friday night to see what the consensus is, pray for a big dump tomorrow!!

Waaayyy better than last year, but I've heard definitely not as good (or as much) as it can get. Either way, I'm stoked it's still comin'!!

Saturday sucked for me too, which was a bummer after an amazing two days the weekend before. I find my best days are the ones where I'm boarding with someone better than I am which makes me push above and beyond, and try things I may not have on my own!

With the possibility of being stuck in Florida for a couple years (hopefully not) I'm hittin' it as many times and for as long as I can!! I hope it keeps comin'!!

Looks like the weather should be great in Hakkoda so I'm planning on going there!

Misawa

Niseko rocks, the potential there is awesome, even though the weekend wasn't the best. Hakkoda should be the mack daddy this weekend, I'm totally stoked!!

I'm a huge fan of Hachimantai Forest and Hakkoda, so much so that I've only tried Appi (terrible on weekends- and work doesn't allow me to go on weekdays) Shizukuishi, Okunakayama and Shimokura (terrible for boarders and too small)- besides my trip to Niseko. It only takes us one and a half hours to get to the Forest and Hakkoda from Misawa. We've been to one or the other every weekend and it's rocked! How's Ajigasawa? How do you get there?

I was in Niseko this weekend and realized when I got back to Misawa what I missed. It took me an hour this morning (at 0430) on my way to gym to dig my car out!! Ray, which place around here do you like best?

Lately, it seems the human lawn dart action is a pretty popular way to get a concussion. Had my fair share of crazy spills but I've got a hard head and padded behind. I'm sure my luck will run out eventually.

The worst thing about living in a snow town is having to wait until Saturday to go boarding! Especially when you get a good dump mid-week, it's absolute TORTURE!!

Hakkoda and Hachimantai Forest defintely have more boarders!
