If I know if an animal is a boy or a girl, I'll call it him/her - whatever animal it is. I know someone who generally hates animals. Even with peoples pets, he calls them "it". Cold person he is.

I was just told by the morning tv program that my "lucky food" today will be katsu curry. I'm just a bit concerned - does that include hire katsu as well? I don't want to get it wrong.
