  1. kkk, it's not expensive. It was about 3,800yen on my first day, digital x-ray, cleaning, drilling, plugging. I can't wait for the next appointment on Monday!
  2. Toque, you went to Norikura with your gf. I don't know how good skier she is but I guess she is not BC skier. Was the snow condition and terrain there hard for her or easy? Maybe I want to try Norikura next year. Show us your pics of Norikura, Toque!! Snowconnection and sannno, if you guys go there this weekend, please take some pictures for me.
  3. Yey! I won two tickets for the greenroom fes in Yokohama!!
  4. Just try! Dried prunes become very rich with sugarfree 99% cacao chocolate.

No more waitng to go home to go to the dentist. Yeah, I found the best dentist near my office, too. Very high tech and dentists are all women! Seems like they are familiar with dental esthetics. There is a huge gap between old style dentist and new high tech dentist. If you research on the internet, you'll notice a difference.
  7. I don't know about Lotus (good band?) but looks like The Greenroom Festival in Yokohama is an interesting event. (in Osaka this weekend) On the 30th at super deluxe is also interesting, GOMA da Didgeridoo!! He is pretty good.
  8. WTS, I've joined a lesson for SAJ 1kyu skiers before. To be honest, they are not so great skiers and lack of confidence. I realized that SAJ Badge Test doesn't mean anything. They don't know how to enjoy skiing and spend so much money and time just for passing the test. This is very Japanese... Take it easy.
  9. Snowconnection, do you live around Denenchofu? I'm your neighbour(Okusawa) and sock_monkey as well. Maybe we can share your car sometime this winter?? Toque, have fun Norikura with your GF!
  10. Here you go! The Museum is a 7minutes walk from Megro Station, or 6 minutes walk from Shirokanedai station.
  11. Actually, I don't want to call it "Chocolate"! BP, you'll understand only if you try it.

What should I do with the rest of this chocolate...??? eat it with something else at the same time, icecream, m&m's etc Icecream or m&m's are not healthy!! I eat it with prunes and it tastes better now. But I still can't understand this 99% black object!
  13. I've known about Icehotel and Icebar in Stockholm in magazines and happened to walk by this bar in Nishiazabu the other night. http://metropolis.japantoday.com/tokyo/629/bars.asp I used to be clubbing there in my late teens when this place was "drugstore". So it's a kind of Natsukashi~ place to me. Maybe now it's good place to go in summer, maybe...

  15. Nice pictures, EBC! It looks like fun! Your pictures are very colorful and pretty, just like the pictures in Patagonia catalog!
  16. CB, do you think we stop at red lights? Riding around Tokyo on weekends isn't so bad. The road around the royal palace becomes bicycle only lane on Sundays. Riding through the Tsukiji fish market which is closed on Sundays is fun. We usually head for the river or the beach and stop at the park with beer machine. I enjoy riding with cars, it's so cool that you can control traffic with your hand signals on your bike. Drivers are usually very nice to me.
  17. Now it's the best season for biking! Wed- 60km along the river (2 beer) Thu- 10km house-station (1 beer) Fri- 30km Kamakura-Hayama (1 beer) Sat- 50km around Tokyo (1 beer) Sun- rain - 1.5km swimming (no alcohol) GW is over but I feel fit!
  18. fjef, I had Jizake from Chiba with my dad, sister and brother in law last night. It's called Oyama-Senmaida 大山千枚田. This rice area is near Kamogawa, isn't it?
  19. SG, I don't think his camera is so old. It was birthday present from his GF last year, wasn't it?
  20. I could find this site finally. He cycled from London to Tokyo last year and did very good presentation in January. You can see many beautiful pictures here. He is living in Tokyo now and you can contact him if you want. http://www.turnrightforjapan.com/index.htm
  21. This website might be useful for you to make plan. JapanCycleNavi

Hey CB, Dana brown was in Tokyo last weekend and I went to the party for his new movie "dust to glory". He was very friendly guy and told us he is filming next one at North Shore unofficially. Can't wait!
  23. SG, This is my favorite chocolate at this moment. As I said before , I'm scared of trying more than 85% cacao but may try Meiji 99%, if you say it's so good.
