The new system we have made is so much better to look at, easier to use, there's even a search feature , and we're going to make it much more prominent on the site. So we hope that lots of people will "discover" that part of the site for the first time...they've been almost hidden from view in a way until now (sorry!) There's a lot of good reading on there, we want to bring all that out in the open.. Another few days.

Not sure who is doing this, but it seems that there is currently an offer on where people who have made a booking in a Yuzawa hotel (or other regions of Niigata) can get a special "Gambatteimasu Niigata" bus from Tokyo to Niigata for just 500 yen. The offer is on until Dec 25th apparently. The "One Coin Bus" will stop at Yuzawa, Sanjo and Tsukioka. Good to hear sanjo. I'm in Niigata and haven't felt anything here for the last 10 days or so. I believe the good people down in Yuzawa haven't felt any shaking for about 2-3 weeks now. I very nearly moved to Nagaoka earlier this year, kinda glad I didn't now. I couldn't imagine multiple shakes on a daily basis for such a long time. Let's hope this is the end of it.
