  1. I'm sure it was meant that way but I just hope she (or other lasses)doesn't feel offended.
  2. Yes, sunrise, I would have loved to have touched base with you. I am also a music lover (both classical and modern) and an enthusiastic pianist .....but not any good!
  3. Hey, scouser, maybe I'm not the best person to say this since I am probably the most frequent teaser of Echineko, but isn't that last posting of yours in poor taste and a bit bordering on the demeaning?
  4. Less than an hour away by car. Mt. Yotei is right between Niseko and Rusutsu.
  5. It's expensive, but Club Med, Sahoro, has very good child care services. They will take your kids, of all ages, and teach them skiing/boarding and also assign them into groups for other activities, including lunch. Parents can go out and have a good time after breakfast and pick up their kids at about 4 pm every day.
  6. This "not so charming man" has only been on skis for two years and I guess it's quite obvious, I am pretty "indecent".
  7. Jared, your review is quite convincing. When does their season start and end. I got to get my agent to check it out and get something planned for this summer.
  8. Just so you know where that came from, Miteyak: Quote: echineko SJG Forum Member Member # 516 Member Rated: posted 18. October 2002 07:13 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to go there. Someone take me! Mind you, you are absolutely right, my thing is always there for Miss Naughty Cat.
  9. Sounds like a great game, Ocean, but I think your original list was missing something: Quote: You can all sit around in a circle and play the party game "I went to Niseko in January, and I took with me ... a digital film studio ... a Cray supercomputer ... an Echineko.... the kitchen sink ... a bogbrush ...",
  10. These guys will do anything to get into the Gondola Milehighclub, enderzero, don't you reckon?
  11. Since you didn't mention anything about your injury, Mogski, I guess everything is O.K. so far, right? Good on you! I know it's got nothing to do with me, but being out here in snowless HK, I have to resort to living vicariously through you guys!....at least till Christmas.
  12. Well, I love it's taste but I hate what it does to my body.
  13. All I can say, is that if Echineko wants to join the Gondola MILEHIGHCLUB it will cause chaos at the gates of the Gondola station!
  14. O.K. so what do I have to do to get him to love me too?..... No, don't tell me, I have to give up all my vices like going after "naughty girls" like YouKnowWho etc. etc. Looks like I have to continue to be a "C...." and pay for all my equipment!
  15. Hi, snufer. I'm sure you are correct. Thank you for pointing it out. What I meant was that Hirafu is the place with just the Gondola and another ski lift at the base. I really didn't know what the Hirafu pass covered cos I was staying at Higashiyama so I thought the Passport was necessary. If the Hirafu pass covers Alpen and Hanazono, then that's certainly a lot of skiable area. If it were me and I was staying at Hirafu, I would probably do only the Hirafu pass for most of the days to save money since there is plenty to ski in Alpen, Hirafu and Hanazono. And then do one or two days with
  16. In Niseko, they use the electronic card so you can even keep it under your jacket sleeve. Just need to put it close to the electronic sensors at the lift gates. The sensors are waist to shoulder in height.
  17. How about "My grandfather's clock"? I just heard a new Japanese version of it!
  18. We'll hold you to that promise, dane. Look forward to seeing more of your cool stuff.
  19. Yes, Hirafu is just a Gondola at the base with another lift just a bit above it, though you can walk across to Alpen on the left and there are other lifts there. The passport gives you access to Annupuri, Higashiyama, Alpen, Hirafu and Hanazono.
  20. The reason for that, ender, is that I am not good enough to do them!
  21. Depends on where you go in Japan. Some places give you the paper bit which are checked by attendants at the gate while some are electronic cards a bit bigger than a credit card that you pass over a sensor like at a subway station and it releases an auto door.
  22. Definitely, Passport indosnm. My debut at Niseko was only for 3 days and 2 nights and in that time I did all the courses, except the blackies. I strongly recommend wandering about and trying out the different places to eat. It's great fun.
  23. Come on, Echineko, you got to give us a decent photo soon (then an indecent one later), otherwise the members are going kick this Chairman's butt! Onegai Shimasu.
  24. Who me? No, I'm still trying to master the art of being a double planker before I attempt to move on to that. I understand it's also more physically demanding so I better not leave it too late.... as I watch the years tick away.
