We didn't get very far on this one but thanks for your thoughts on the matter. Go take a cheese break (as if you weren't going to anyhow )

I would take in all the best resorts that offer a good selection of nutritious, fun and delicious cheeses. That would be my plan. Some research is required. -
They don't have a cheese section. They should. It would be a fantastic marketing tool.

PPPPOOOOOWWWWWDDDDDEEEEERRRR!
cheeseman replied to danz's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
danz, it sounds like you had a great time up there. Were you able to scope for some good cheese outlets up there? Any cheese stalls crop up since last season to appeal to all us cheese fans? You forgot to mention that in your report -
I tell you - if they took my advice and tried to appeal to cheesefans - as per my post above - they would run away with the title!

Nothing beats sitting down to a good cheese fondue whilst resting with a kotatsu.

Cheese. Although certainly not enough of it.

I am designing mine now. I am worried about which cheese to use as the image - don't want to offend certain cheesefans now.

Why does no-one say please or thank you on Star Trek then? It's not very polite. They would never say "Please pass over the cheese", it would be a less polite "Pass over the cheese, ensign" (or whatever ensign is - sounds like ensign. Never seen them eating cheese either come to think of it.

Cheese on haggis. Yummy -
What do YOU think! My vote goes for a traditional Lancashire cheese. Tasty, nutritious, and fun!

Yes, be patient. Just sit back relax and enjoy a good big wedge of mature Gouda - that'll do the trick just nicely. -
Christmas
cheeseman replied to rach's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I'm looking for a good traditional Cheese Roast on Christmas Day. As well as being fun, it'll be traditional and also nutritional. Great times! -

cheeseman replied to belle's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I find that a nice nutritious chunk of cheese or some fun cheesy nibbles get the conversation flowing. Cheese comes to the rescue in all those awkward situations one finds oneself in. Delicious, fun, nutritious - and a great tool to use to make friends with! -
I love Hakuba!
cheeseman replied to mai's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
I like Hakuba too, mai, but feel they could maximise business in other ways than they do now (for example, cheese snack shops on the slopes - it'd be a huge hit with cheesefans from all around). Do you like cheese too? -
Something that you cant get used to??!!
cheeseman replied to indosnm's topic in General off-topic discussions
The lack of cheese shops vexes me.
