  3. I think it is the same with any mountian...if you are there long enough you know where to go. I can spend an entire day in Niseko skiing steep deep fall lines...I don't see anyone else and its great... From the webcam it doesn't look big but everyday( and Night!) I am spoilt for choice with fresh lines every run - through the trees or of the Dai 7 lift. It isnt that steep and it is expensive to get to but that just keeps people away whichis fine by me!
  4. snow is melting, but still enough to get the car sideways! Loads of tracks coming down Alpen...
  5. Well, pass pulling is of course merely a turn of phrase. Of course you can say no but most patrollers in that situation would say "fair enough" and radio the lifties and tell them not to let you on. Not many would resort to wrestling, especially a foreigner. The trick is to carry a cheap "throwaway ticket" so that when you are pulled up you give them the dud whilst your real pass stays in your pocket.

  19. The reason I "ducked out of" the AET thread was it became apparent that you don't listen. I was asked to stay on ias a JET in whatever capacity I chose - I was given a blank page. I just chose to give you the attantion you deserve. There are a number of resorts who are coping with lack of snow and a downturn in the economy by offering something else for the skier/boarder.
