I've been so lazy recently with almost no exercise. Er, make that completely no exercise. A bit worried about getting back into shape.

I'm not new to snow, but new to Japan - I would advise that you just wait until next season to start as from what I have read on here the snow conditions are heavy and not good right now. Best to wait until the powdery light stuff comes later in the year to take it up and enjoy the most.

An intermediate skier who should be an advanced skier with all the days and weeks I've spend out there.

Just moved to Japan from the US for a 3 year stint. Working Osaka/Tokyo, looking forward to it.

You can count me in as well. Skiing since I was 15 (28 now)....so should be better than I am, but hey it's for fun isn't it! Good to see such an active community here, can't wait for the next season to come round.
