  1. Sunrise I thought you were a woman. Just the general vibe from your posts and what guy would call himself "sunrise" anyway? slap slap markie! By the way, Deebee/bambam I thought you were a woman too for a long time and Im not the only one!
  2. ok Ill try to explain better... ice in drinks that you make yourself is good. Whats a gin and tonic without ice? Yuck
  3. piercings on the right guy can look dead sexy. But on the right guy and in the right places. An ex boyf had 2 in his ear that looked great and I will never forget on a scuba diving trip when the instructor took off his wetsuit to reveal a pierced nipple. Now that made me sit up and take notice...
  4. I was checking my email yesterday and the usual junk and then a mate checked his yahoo account and had some beauties in there "worlds smallest radio controlled motorbike" I think took the cake! FYI check your options in your email address. Apparently hotmail changed some stuff a while back and if youve had youre email acct a while chances are theres a box checked that you dont want. Go into options and then check under my profile. But seriously people must click on the penis enlargement etc stuff or they wouldnt send it. WHO THE HELL ARE THESE KNUCKLEHEADS??!!
  5. Im at work too but not really working. Taking a break from skiing as my body is begging for it.
  6. I think there isnt a rush at christmas maybe a bit busier at night with all those couples out there being romantic. NYrs is a bit busier but I think that Feb is much worse with crowds. Just my 2 yen worth though.
  7. The guy with a red beard might be a mate who lives not too far from Hakuba. He fell in a river at 47 last weekend, very very funny for us but not for him I suspect.
  8. get outta bed early to get the first runs, have an early lunch around 1130 and back out around 12 when the other people are eating in what seems to be a designated lunch time 12 - 1 and the slopes are empty. If you get there earlier you get tired sooner so go home a little earlier and beat the traffic. On a powder day get there to make you own tracks. Well worth getting up early for.
  9. I find at Nozawa weekdays or if its snowing hard they dont care what you do but if its a weekend and there are loads of punters out they are much more likely to hassle you. Also by not rubbing in their faces you can get away with lots, like dont cut in right under the lift by the sign that says "dont ride off the course" go down about 10m and do it there. They are decent guys and when you get on the chair covered in powder they know you didnt get that from the piste! The knowing smile and brush down with the broom says it all. Like lots of things in Japan, if they arent made aware of it they d
  10. Ah yes another good point about skirts - their versatility. You can put on your swimming costume underneath, you can take a pee in the woods, you can have a quickie without taking it off and according to a magazine that arrived the other day you can grab a belt and wear it as a top! So versitile, so many uses. Yep I like wearing skirts.
  11. yeah I mean you gotta be sensible about it. Like the cheongsam, looks damn good but still has enough to keep people guessing. Not laying all your cards on the table. Walking round in minus 8 weather with your butt hanging out the bottom of your belt/skirt, thats just skanky and trashy. As for leaving the skirt on it just makes things a lot easier, like using a squat toilet - what did you think I meant?
  12. yeah I was keen on the roast lamb but the others in my posse wanted turkey all the way. Anyway, the bird has found a loving home to consume it in a few days. fyi foreign buyers club is costy but for stuff like christmas etc theyve got the goods www.fbcusa.com
  13. enderzero its like sleeping with your electric blanket cranked up high, you are basically slowly cooking yourself. And becuase you tend to fall asleep under it after youve been drinking the dehydration is bad and the hangover possibly one of the worst you will ever have. And if youre a guy the heat on your nuts over a long period of time apparently can make you sterile - maybe thats why the birthrate is so low in Japan!
  14. Good luck echineko, with posts like that you are sure to get some quality guy (I am a horrible person I know)
  15. Christmas a week away and due to one friend following his heart (dick) and another pulling the short straw and having to work Ive got a spare (8-10 pound 29x20x15cm approx) turkey. Odd I know. We got it from the foreign buyers club for 3360 and its yours for that. If you live anywhere in the northern Nagano region we could arrange a drop off. Im going to be at Nozawa and Hakuba this weekend so either of those and the bird is yours! let me know zwelgen@hotmail.com gobble gobble gobble
  16. Ive had a cannon word tank for about 4 years and although it does has its flaws esp with definitions its great to shove into your backpack and look things up quickly as well as the test function so if youre riding public transport you can revise words you put into the thing. If the new one is even better it must be fantastic! It costs a bit more than some of the others, but definatley worth the extra cash I think. It can stand a bit of a bashing too! FYI Ive never used the cartridges.
  17. But markie thats the advantage of skirts, you can still do whatever you want without taking them off!
  18. I just send about 25 altogehter. To people that have helped me out and are generally good to me anda a few obligatory ones to workmates. But I dont think it would be the end of the world if I didnt send any.
  19. osechiryori yuckyuckyuck! Id rather a konbini onigiri anyday. Whats with all the salt and cold muck. There are microwaves around these days
  20. Ocean if you want nice italian food there is a place in Kijimadaira village. Instead of going across the red bridge just out of Nozawa and goin back to the expressway on the bypass road (117 I think) drive through Kijimadaira village on the Eastern side of the river. Youll get to a Lawsons on the left hand side of the road so do a u turn and head back to Nozawa and at the first set of lights after the lawsons go left, towards the river if that makes sense and its along there, log cabin type place. Really good pasta. oH its called "doyobi italian" yum yum. Also on the main street of Iiyama
  21. Why dont you give Nozawa a go for a few days and then if you get bored you can always get on a train to Nagano (1 hr) then bus to Hakuba (1 hr?) and voila! More mountains to ride. Ditto with Hakuba for 5 days and then do it in reverse. And chill about the onsens mate! You dont know what you are missing out on. If you are so nuts dont stick your face in (I wouldnt) and then have a good wash afterwards. Nothing better than a post ski onsen and a beer. Or 5 And the floaties at Nozawa are just the silica deposits, makes you skin feel soooo smoottthhhhh
  22. Ive been a couple of times and in my humble opinion there are better places to go nearby. The road is a nightmare, esp coming home tired at the end of the day on 2 lines of ice in the wheel ruts and a billion cars infront of you, everyone going 15 km/h - no thanks. Admitidly I have only been at the beginning and endish of the season and it wasnt connected that good, not like goryu/47 and actually ended up getting a mate to drive in his boarding boots. And then getting stuck in some tree runs to get back. The runs were ok with a bit of goodie bits but I wouldnt bother going when there is
