Over summertime here now in OZ, too dark for a real early surf and can't wait until they flick the switch in a week!

I am happy that they have the cameras, mainly for skype, who would want to take pics with an iPad anyway???

Cool. My little fella is on a 5'6 kid fish. I can get boards from the local shapers after the Jnr riders are done with them. Had a few waves over the weekend. The point wasn't really working & when size increased winds weren't good. Headed to Byron to let my little one have a surf and I got a few gems. Almost had my head taken off by a longboarder but that's Byron for you! We are in Lennox Head, which is an hour south of the QLD border. It has pretty much been raining since the September school holidays. Seriously, almost every frikkin day. I would hate to a mum having the kids at home these holidays! The rivers are holding up ok but all that rain from north has to go somewhere. Haven't had a good fish in ages, or surf for that matter JA, there is some flooding on the Pacific HWY by passing Ballina , nothing major but enough to hold everything up.

Cricket is great to watch. If ya team can make it through a session without getting all out!

We found a few great foreign restaurants , Thai & especially Mexican but generally were to Japanese tastes. But then again, some Japanese places here are pretty crap too. We went to a Teppanyaki restaurant last week and cooked in sukiyaki nabe! & they served the Miso about 20 mins before the food! Hanging for Yakiniku...

Same Wiggs. I used to my own shaken and they never once look inside the car!

City of God. was pretty good. Also watched Happy Gilmore with the kids on sat.. now wishing I didn't as they are copying all the fart jokes!
