SJ GIVEAWAYS
SnowJapan replied to SamuiKitsune's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
We don't publish the winners anymore (due in no small part to the increasing number of complaints & problems that doing so was giving us). Thank you for pointing that page out to us by the way - it shouldn't be there and I have now just changed it so that it redirects to the Giveaways page. Thanks. -
Hello nomake There are plenty of places listed on our site: http://www.snowjapan.com/e/hakuba-guide/hakuba-places-to-stay.html You can contact those places directly using the info on those pages. I also suggest doing a search on these forums as this kind of thing has been discussed often: http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/search Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback to those who sent it in - the search is now online and linked to from various places on these forums as well as the main site. http://www.snowjapan.com/e/resorts/search.php We'll be continuing to test it further and welcome any other comments. Please send us any details by email. New "Trip Reports" Forums
SnowJapan replied to SnowJapan's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
What kind of action? Deleting posts or banning/deleting accounts (like we did with Roger above). Hardly exciting. Just time consuming and annoying. -
baffita, I have just merged 2 threads (and deleted another) - it's the third identical post that you have made today in 3 different forums. Please refrain from doing that - the forums would become a real mess if everyone did that. If someone can help you with your question, hopefully they will do so. Thank you!

I have turned them on for you Sarge1. (Everyone else, about PMs, we would appreciate it if you please email us rather than asking us via the Forums. Thank you). Unfortunately, right now we really need this to be a case of us simply putting what we have in stamped envelopes that we receive. Are you coming to Japan this season? Is there anywhere they can be sent to in Japan or anyone you know in Japan who can help?

New "Trip Reports" Forums
SnowJapan replied to SnowJapan's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
The 2nd post was identical to the first post. They were the only 2 threads he viewed - and littered. (I deleted the other one and just left this to make the point!) We find there are 2 main kinds of "stealth advertisers" - the ones like this that are almost random dumb one-off hits (this guy probably just cut and paste onto as many forums as he can, never to come back) and then there's the more intelligent, thoughtful, sneakier kind... the ones that claim total innocence when you take any action and are much more difficult to deal with. They are both extremely annoying in dif -

TJ OZ, should we send on some goodies? Nothing that exciting I'm afraid, but a chunk of stickers for sure and anything else we might be able to find
