Makes me wish I lived in sapporo! On a good day I can see Hokkaido from here. Need to couch surf with someone up there for a bit.

One little tip with the glasses for fogging: I never wore glasses until I joined the military and wore BCGs. On the firing range they fogged up a lot and we would just spit on them then rub them to keep them from fogging. A DI saw me do that and yelled at me, then told me to rub a bar of soap on it and buff it out. Turns out that works much better, and lasts much longer. Since then I always keep a bar of soap in my gear. I worked up quite a bit of a sweat the other day trying to dig myself out of snow and the glasses didnt fog up at all... If you get them wet, just wipe them of

Ever been ripped on an ebay buy?

That's why you don't buy drugs online. I bet they cut it with baking soda. -

From Ebay: That's about it being described right, but do a print screen or whatever of the original article and pictures of the product on arrival, and you should be able to contest it fine. You can get a full or partial refund. Ebay likes for you to try and work it out with the seller before you create a case for them, but if someone obviously shafted you I wouldn't even bother -

Always always always check the item description. If the item does match the description, then you can file a claim. Some dumbass a while back bought an iphone 5 off ebay for 500USD then got pissed it was just an empty box. His item description said "Iphone 5 retail packaging" and his claim had no worth. So just make sure the description matches. The image can be anything, stock imaging, a picture of a dog turd, whatever. As for your actual question, I don't use ebay much anymore, but I bought an airsoft shotgun when I was younger, expecting it to be a high quality tokyo mauri SPAS- -

I haven't had 7-11 chicken yet as there isn't one in my city (True meaning of inaka) but its much better than the Circle K chicken for sure. I feel much better today, but getting out of bed this morning was rough. No where to go but up I suppose. I spent most of the morning researching snowboarding ACL injuries... -
I might have to look up online Goz. The XL full sleeved was 8000Y in store. If they're 4900Y for a new year sale or something I might have to bite. Edit: I wont link but they definitely have full size UL for 5900Y right now. XL-4XL, although some colors are sold out of the biggest sizes. Some for 3900Y

Today is going to be a lazy day. Partly cloudy with light snow flakes. Warming the muscles under the kotatsu and taking a break to let my body recover.

I'm definitely feeling it this morning. I probably should have built up and started conditioning first but I was super eager to get back out and ride. Sore muscles? Calves-Check Thighs- Check Lower Gluts- Check Lower back- Check Traps- Check Shoulders- Check Neck- Double Check Have to take it easy for a few days =-/ Also, the L chicken is delicious. It took a while for me to get used to the fact that they leave the skin on all chicken here in Japan. Great snack for 105円 -

Sadly the lodge was completely sold out of food, so I had to go down to a Lawson and fill my stomach with ピザまん and エルチキン!I'll pack some calorie mates next time. -
Snowboarded today for 8 hours. Maybe 30 minutes for lunch and two 20 minute breaks. The rest of the time I was on the mountain. Towards the end of the day, I would fall and just lay there for a few minutes until I could will myself up. I decided to quit when it was an effort to even stand up. I heard so many "Daijoubu?" "Daijoubu desu ka?" today. I'm exhausted and going to onsen, but I still feel accomplished because I identified a lot of the technique I'm doing wrong after getting back into the sport and have a weekend in Ajigasawa to look forward to! Anyone else done that?

Morning! Looks like we got 5cm or so last night. Going to get out there on the mountain before everyone else and try to claim it for myself!

Meet Up?
Tachypsychia replied to hellyer's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Just had a look at the calendar tool. Pretty powerful. Shouldn't be hard to set an event with your trip dates and the area you'll be in. Then just add details! Edit: David, Do public calendar events need admin approval? I did a test entry and it did not show up.. -
Meet Up?
Tachypsychia replied to hellyer's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Maybe we should make a public calendar, like on google calendar and put where we're going to be and how long. Might be an easy way to meet other forum members in the area? Edit: Just realized there's a calendar on SnowJapan. Someway we could utilize that? -

Sounds awesome. I did similar with the wife, but it was lord of the rings extended edition!
