[Note: I posted a Gran Deco trip report at the beginning of the season, but the weather was so nice this time I thought it wouldn't hurt to post a few (keitai) pics.] Headed to Gran Deco for a final spring fling with the kid the weekend of April 24 and 25. Weather was just above freezing, with a whisper of snow quickly giving way to alternating sun and clouds for the rest of the day: Kid had been wanting to try snowboarding for some time, so we gave it a try. As it turns out, it did actually snow on Saturday, for about 5 minutes. On-off sun and clouds for the rest of the day, and brilliant blue skies the next. Great end to the season.

(The horror.) Still, the kid never says no to a ski trip, even if it does mean being seen in public with the dorkmeister.

At least 8/10. Managed to check out a few new places (thanks in part to this site -- thanks again!), all good times, no bad times. Only disappointment is that we didn't make it out more than we have so far -- but the season is not over yet. Got kind of soporific with the warm weather lately, but starting to get fired up again.
