  4. My season went to 11. plonk, how was Alts? I want to check that out next season.
  5. Nice cheese tara! Gouda (and good for you) cheese at An English Inn, Inawashiro:
  6. [Note: I posted a Gran Deco trip report at the beginning of the season, but the weather was so nice this time I thought it wouldn't hurt to post a few (keitai) pics.] Headed to Gran Deco for a final spring fling with the kid the weekend of April 24 and 25. Weather was just above freezing, with a whisper of snow quickly giving way to alternating sun and clouds for the rest of the day: Kid had been wanting to try snowboarding for some time, so we gave it a try. First impression: holy cow, this is nothing like skiing at all! Ok, point the board down the hill, pretend it is a f

  14. Looks nice! Jealous of all that white stuff still there. Are those Telemark bindings?
  15. At least 8/10. Managed to check out a few new places (thanks in part to this site -- thanks again!), all good times, no bad times. Only disappointment is that we didn't make it out more than we have so far -- but the season is not over yet. Got kind of soporific with the warm weather lately, but starting to get fired up again.
  16. Ah yes, Madame Butterfly. Remember this?
  17. 9 so far. Aiming to get one more weekend in before having to pull the skis out of the genkan (where they serve as inspiration) and park them in a closet for the summer. Considering Gran Deco at the moment for the last hurrah.

  19. Looks great, both on and off piste. The bed on tatami looks unusual, but comfortable. Cheese looks good, too. Quote: sorry, but the MOS Burger didn’t really do it for me. That's ok, you're forgiven.
