On some days the snow seems to build up quickly almost without you noticing and on others it snows and you are puzzled when there's not as much as you thought.

Yesterday evening there was a bit of a break in the snow falling and I went out to measure 33cm of snowfall since my morning report.

Again we had some rather wet stuff falling later in the day yesterday but we can quickly forget that with a lot of fresh snow piled up on the ground this morning.

We ended up getting some really good snowfall during the day in Yuzawa yesterday, coming down hard at times.

We enjoyed some very fine sunny weather during the morning yesterday which was a nice surprise.

It is a beauty of a morning too, despite the forecasts showing cloud and snow.

Yesterday while it did not feel windy early on, it did actually get pretty blowy.

Yesterday started off very cold. In fact, I had trouble opening my garage door and for a short while was worried a morning on the slopes might not happen.

After the snow, it's clearer blue skies this morning with just a little cloud here and there. Cold too!

Some rain yesterday but that is quickly forgotten because... heavy snowfall!

It was falling fairly heavily at times during the day yesterday, ending up with 9cm of fresh snow measured at town level by 5pm.

After a day of snow falling for the most part there was just 2cm of snow measured early evening, but another nice thick layer of snow on the ground this morning.

It was raining heavily at times yesterday around base levels. A bit grim. Yuck. Not helpful to the snow.

Yesterday the snow kept on coming down. At times it was quite heavy with nice big flakes; at other times just light snow.
