New snowfall at base 10cm

Yesterday the snow kept on coming down. At times it was quite heavy with nice big flakes; at other times just light snow. 7cm of fresh snowfall was measured yesterday evening and an additional 3cm this morning, so that makes for a total of 10cm of fresh snowfall down at town level since my report yesterday. (Both Kagura and Ishiuchi are this morning reporting 5cm of fresh snow).
Right now it is generally cloudy but there seems to be a chance of clearer weather and sun a bit later on during the day.
We should be seeing a return to more snowfall tomorrow, though it is going to be somewhat milder than it has been. Some of the local forecasts even call for 'sleet' in town - hopefully we will avoid that, and surely it will be snow at higher elevations.
I wonder how busy the slopes will be today? Different opinions on that, so there's only one way to find out!
