It was cold out there yesterday, proper cold. A biting wind as well.

This is the kind of report I like writing, especially after all that warm stuff going on over the last week.

The snow yesterday morning didn't amount to much but it was of course better than that pesky 'r' stuff falling!

Not the most exciting things to report this morning.

So yesterday morning started off clear and sunny with blue skies all round and icy conditions.

The rain continued during the morning yesterday at town level, though it was snowing on the mountain depending on where you were of course.

It was snowing for most of yesterday and it is snowing this morning in Yuzawa.

It's another 10cm of new snow to report this morning from the area and it is snowing now.

Yesterday was a cloudy/overcast day but we are back to snow falling this morning.

I had about 10-15cm of snow to move by the end of the day yesterday and another few cm this morning, though the resorts - including Kagura - are reporting 5-10cm.

Just a thin layer of snow on the top of the car this morning here in Ishiuchi just to the north of Yuzawa.

After a mostly cloudy day yesterday snow started falling mid afternoon and continued overnight.

It was snowing yesterday for most of the day, easing off in the evening and when I was out shovelling snow last night it looked like the skies were fairly clear.
