I'm enjoying this. Shovelling required again this morning with another 30+cm of snow, most of that coming in overnight.

The snow has continued. At 3pm yesterday, the ski are was reporting 28-30cm on the upper areas.

Good morning, and a good one it is too (after fine weather during the day and then a wet start to the precipitation yesterday evening).

The ski area is reporting 10-11cm of fresh snow on upper areas since yesterday, with just a few cm of that coming in overnight. Just a bit of new snow down at lower levels.

We got some good snowfall overnight. It was snowing quite heavily in the last few hours of the day yesterday and there was more in the early hours.

We've had some more snow and more of the ski area is opening up.

Good news this morning. Nozawa-like snowfall since yesterday with the ski area.

A modest amount of snow overnight - dare I say not as much as we expected, again - but it's due to continue over the next few days, so let's look forward to the prospect of it building up quickly.

After the wet of yesterday, this morning we have another dusting of white down to lower areas.

It is good to see a covering of snow on the ground outside the Nagasaka gondola and other base areas this morning.

There is another very light cover (dusting) on the ground outside the Nagasaka Gondola, and the ski area is reporting 7-10cm of fresh snow on the open upper areas since yesterday.

The ski area has reported 8-13cm of snowfall on the upper areas since yesterday morning (5cm of that during the day yesterday).

More of the ski area is open from this morning, with both Yamabiko quads and also the Uenotaira quad scheduled to be operating. Details below.
