More of the ski area is open from this morning, with both Yamabiko quads and also the Uenotaira quad scheduled to be operating. Details below.
It is trying to snow! Whoever is on duty turning on the snow taps seems to be struggling to get them fully turned on, with just a modest amount coming through so far. But if forecasts are right, it will be Sunday/Monday when they can really open up those taps and the snow comes down Nozawa-style proper (ie. heavy snow). Let's have it!
The ski area has reported 2cm up top since yesterday (1cm yesterday and 1cm this morning), and as of 7:30am there is a thin layer on the ground at base (1-2cm). Hopefully we will be getting more during the day today.
