Good morning, and a good one it is too (after fine weather during the day and then a wet start to the precipitation yesterday evening).
I am happy to report lots of fresh snow around this morning. In fact, the ski area reports 60cm in the top area and 20-25cm around base areas. I just measured more than those official base numbers at just over 30cm.
Excellent.
Visibility is suitably limited this morning as it continues to snow... and there should be snow continuing over the next few days too.
Taps set to 'full on', please!
It's the last day of the New Year period night skiing tonight at Nagasaka, until 8pm. Ski lifts will also get back to the usual opening times from tomorrow morning.

- Uenotaira: 44cm
- Hikage: 25cm

- Yamabiko: 150cm
- Uenotaira: 140cm
