Yesterday the snow continued falling but the main thing I thought was... it was really cold! This morning is really cold too.

There's fresh snow to report this morning, though I can't hide my disappointment as I was expecting to be able to report more than 10cm.

Good morning from Hakuba and Happy Christmas.

There's more snow and it feel like it should be an excellent morning out there. It has eased off and there are signs that it might be getting clearer.

Excellent news to report from Hakuba this morning with a really good layer of snow on the ground.

After those clearer skies yesterday morning this morning it's an altogether greyer start to the day.

Another 10-15cm or so of new snowfall is being reported from around the ski areas (in upper areas) this morning.

Bit of a dusting of (wet) snow down close to base areas.

Some fresh snow down the the village, but lots of blue sky as of 9am.

It is a beautiful Sunday morning here in Hakuba.

There is a fresh layer of snow on the ground around village areas and it is continuing to snow.

Hakuba 47 have been reporting around 20cm of snow on lower areas and 45cm of snow higher up.
