Snowfall at base this season 35cm

Hello and welcome to the Sunday report.
Another 10-15cm or so of new snowfall is being reported from around the ski areas (in upper areas) this morning. It's just a dusting really lower down at base areas, but enough for me to add 1cm.
There are a lot of people lining up for the gondola at Happo-one this morning, keen to get in those early December turns.
Lots of cloud around as of 8:30am but sunshine is likely today. It should remain chilly but temps are going to be warming up somewhat in this coming week. Let us hope not too much. Looks like we might be getting rained on as well over the next few days. The best place to escape that is probably at the top of the ski areas, where hopefully it might be snowing.
Have a good Sunday.
