Mid winter cold and snowy conditions up here this morning.

Light snow is falling and it is fairly calm... for now. Just a bit of snow on the ground.

Some annoying rain yesterday but let's quickly get onto the good news - fresh snow!

Yakebitaiyama are reporting 15-20cm; Kumanoyu are reporting 10cm; I am measuring 12cm for my reports.

Fresh snow on the ground to report. Depending on where you are, with resorts that report saying 5-10cm and I am measuring 9cm.

Snow is falling. And such lovely light snow too... being blown around by the wind, though not as windy as yesterday.

It's good old mid-winter like cold and blowy snowy morning here.

Ah, good. I bring you news of snow! Not huge amounts but I am measuring 6cm.

It is relatively mild this morning and right now sleet is falling but there is up to 5cm of fresh snow in places on the ground overnight (I am measuring 3cm).

Just a bit of snow overnight and right now... the sun is out!

It's a bit disappointing this morning especially as we were hearing of the chance of some decent snow overnight.

It is definitely colder. And there is a dusting of snow on the ground.
