Morning from Shiga Kogen.
Mid winter cold and snowy conditions up here this morning.
An interesting thing to point out - Kumanoyu are reporting about 10cm of fresh snowfall while Yakebitaiyama are reporting about 30cm. So 10-30cm in different parts of the Shiga Kogen region. Both can be correct. I am measuring 14cm to add to our reports here. Every day I will try to report what resorts are reporting as well as what I am measuring so that you can have as wide an account of what is happening as possible.
Anyway limited visibility now as the snow continues to fall and hopefully/probably that will continue into early next week. With hopefully some larger numbers to report in the next few reports.
The more the better to let the whole area open up.
