At times yesterday we got some snow storm like conditions and it was very variable. Where I was anyway.

The snow is back and it feels much more like winter this morning.

A quick snow update! Yes, fresh snow on the ground.

It is approaching 9am as I write this and the earlier cloudy skies seem to be changing. It is getting brighter with some blue sky showing through and some sun too.

It didn't start with these blue skies - rather, some snow falling. But the clouds are clearing and the sun is out. Colder than yesterday too thankfully.

I have been doing shovelling, something I'm not used to in November. Not complaining!

Quick update because there's snow to report! It's not just the stuff blasted from machines, but actual real natural snow. Areas are speckled but there's a few cm in places.

Fresh snow in Golden Week! It has been really odd weather these last few days but the most important thing to say is that I can see fresh snow. And it's actually pretty cold.

We have some fresh snow! Yes, it's true. And not just a slight dusting either.

Today is going to be a warm day with temperatures well into double digits. Bright and sunny - sunglasses recommended.

None of the ski areas are reporting any cm of snow from yesterday, but it definitely snowed and I saw 3cm of it.
