And after the storm (and just a little more additional snow)... fine weather this morning. We might get some more snow overnight though.

Please let me rewind one day. Looks like a sentence that I wrote for my report yesterday somehow didn't actually get posted for some reason (surely something I did!).

A layer of fresh snow on the ground this morning.

After the storm comes some calmer and clearer weather. Already turning into a lovely morning... with the bonus of a layer of snow on the ground.

Not a whole lot of snow since the report yesterday and fine and sunny skies this morning... but it is quite windy.

We have light snow falling on this cold morning. Yakebitaiyama are reporting 5cm of fresh snowfall; Kumanoyu are reporting 10cm.

Yep, we got some rain even up here. Mild. But, it has turned to snow and it should continue today and tomorrow.

This morning would definitely be the pick today. It is a cold start and the sun is out.

Yesterday the clouds started to clear during the day leaving us with a lovely early evening. Some blue skies and some sunshine.

A good 20-30cm or so of it around base areas with wind accounting for varying numbers.

It is noticeably colder this morning with light snow falling in some areas... just cloudy at the moment in others; even some brighter areas.

It's snowing. Not light powder; more wet. But better than rain which is what other lower areas seem to be getting this morning.

After the wilder conditions yesterday and overnight, with the wind blowing snow around, is turning out to be a much calmer morning.

It's snowing and rather windy this morning. It feels like mid winter again... though we are due milder temperatures once again in the run up to the weekend.
