Independent snow and weather reporting from the Shiga Kogen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 480cm

Posted on Thursday 4th February 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.

Morning.

Not a whole lot of snow since the report yesterday and fine and sunny skies this morning... but it is quite windy. And while it is sunny now, probably by around lunchtime the clouds will be back and it should be snowing on us once again. So things might feel quite stormy later on today.

It's not due to last too long though as there looks to be a good chance of clearer skies again tomorrow and Saturday. Hopefully calmer too.

Let's hope we can get a good layer in today.
