Another dusting+ of snow up here in Shiga Kogen but it's due to clear up and be a day of fine weather.

And there was a little snow on my car this morning. Always good to see. Just a bit, and (very) light snow is still falling.

It's a bit of a wild kind of morning.

It's one of those 'and after the storm, clearer weather' things going on this morning. After the storm that included wind, rain, sleet and was generally kind of nasty, it's nice to have a calmer morning.

Snow early this morning, and is still snowing but also showing sings of brightening up in some areas. I was just over at Okushiga Kogen.

It's a cold morning - bright too, and likely to get brighter still.

We have had more snow since yesterday and it is still snowing in places (Okushiga Kogen, I see you!) but there is some sun breaking through the clouds in the central region of Shiga Kogen now.

Well, as expected it's rather different this morning.

It's still cloudy and grey but forecasts say it should be clearer later on this morning.. and indeed there are blue skies in areas to the north already.

Along with the snow clouds, there's some breaks in the clouds appearing in places and even glimpses of blue sky on this cold morning.

There were reports of some wild weather going on yesterday but we actually got a few spells of clearer skies up here.

Overnight wind and snow. Kumanoyu are reporting 20cm.

Some snow from yesterday to report but it cleared up by later in the day.

It's windy and snowy early morning. Wind is affecting the opening of some lifts. Hopefully things will calm down.
