A cracker of a morning weather wise. Nice and cold and sunny.

Some kinda odd weather yesterday with those heavy looking clouds yesterday morning moving in and rain turning to snow.

Some real quality snow around at the moment.

It is really coming down at the moment. Cold. Lovely quality snow, and about 22cm of it and counting just measured.

It is a very cold morning and the sun has been out.

OK so we got a lot of snow overnight!

The snow clouds remain over the region, though they haven't been giving us much in terms of cm of snow.

I can't think of too many words this morning as the situation remains... snowy.

It continues to snow this morning but visibility seems fairly decent in most areas.

Yesterday there was a break in the clouds around the middle of the day but it was back to snow by the evening with about 10cm overnight.

We have made it to the last day of 2020.

Well, there's a lot of rain in the region this morning but it has quickly become snow here and right now it is snowing.

All ski areas in Shiga Kogen are now officially open from today, according to the official website.
