Morning from Shiga Kogen.
Please let me rewind one day. Looks like a sentence that I wrote for my report yesterday somehow didn't actually get posted for some reason (surely something I did!). Anyway, what I wrote was something along the lines of - we did not get rain, rather we got straight into snow and at times early afternoon it was coming down at some rate.
Hope that makes sense.
On to this morning....
Loads of snow!!!
Snow is falling right now and there's a wind whipping it up just outside my window. A look round the webcams shows better visibility in places but it is generally variable. And the snow is mostly just light snow now.
In terms of fresh snowfall numbers, Kumanoyu are reporting 50cm of snow. Yakebitaiyama are reporting 45cm. Some ski areas are actually even adjusting their official snow depth numbers this morning. (A bit). ;)
So there should be some excellent deep snow out there this morning.
From tomorrow forecast shows some sun and clearer skies.
