Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Snow!
None of the ski areas are reporting any cm of snow from yesterday, but it definitely snowed and I saw 3cm of it. I can imagine there was will be more fresh than that higher up. Nice surprise.
The roads outside my place is dry and clear again this morning.
This weekend is the last weekend of the season for some of the ski areas of Shiga Kogen. We are set to enjoy a calm and bright (hopefully sunny) day.
(We might not be so lucky tomorrow with precipitation - might be rain. We are forecast wind too).

Yokoteyama & Shibutoge
Possibly until early June!
The section of road connecting the southern area of Shiga Kogen (from Yokoteyama onwards) with Gunma Prefecture is now closed for the season.
It will be closed until 23rd April 2021.
