Good morning from Shiga Kogen.
Today is going to be a warm day with temperatures well into double digits. Bright and sunny - sunglasses recommended.
Interesting to see that come Monday it'll be back to being quite cold and while there might be rain later tomorrow, we might even get some snow. Don't expect much though. But snow is, of course, always welcome. Looks like conditions will be somewhat unsettled for a few days.
Tomorrow will be the last day of the season for some ski lifts.
Planned Shiga Kogen ski area operations:

Giant:
Open until 4th April
Takamagahara Mammoth:
Quad lift open until Sunday 4th April and then on 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th April and 29th April until 5th May
Ichinose Family:
Number 2 pair open daily until 4th April and then open weekends until 5th May
Ichinose quad open daily until 5th May
Terakoya:
3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th April and 29th April until 5th May
Ichinose Diamond:
Ichinose Diamond pair open 10th, 11th April and 29th April until 5th May
Ichinose Diamond quad open 10th, 11th April and 29th April until 5th May
Ichinose Yamanokami pair open until 4th April
Until 5th April and then 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th April and 29th April until 6th May
Yakebitaiyama:
Yakebitaiyama Number 2 lift open until 4th April
Yakebitaiyama Number 2 Gondola open until 5th May (but closed on 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd April)
Okushiga Kogen:
Number 1 pair lift open until 4th April
Number 4 and 6 pairs open until 5th May (except 5th-9th, 12th-16th and 19th-23rd April)
Number 2 and 3 pair and gondola open daily until 5th May
Kumanoyu:
Number 1 pair until 5th May
Number 3 quad until 4th April and then 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th April and 29th April until 6th May
Number 2 pair A line until 16th May
Yokoteyama & Shibutoge
Possibly until early June!
The ski areas of Shiga Kogen not mentioned in the above list are now closed for the season.
